One of the founding Directors of Better Placed Recruitment, Dean has over 10 years experience of recruiting into the agency market. Dean has worked and successfully recruited for some of the largest communications groups in the UK as well as some of the smaller niche players.

With an extensive network of candidates and clients, he has a wealth of experience recruiting across a wide variety of disciplines. With an ever changing market, Dean has worked on a large number of roles within the digital arena and has recruited at all levels across account handling, search marketing, social media and project management.

Dan has a proven track record in the agency market and has a strong network across the north. Having placed some of the regions best creative talent, he also works on client servicing roles from Account Executive through to Board Director level.

With a thorough understanding of the northern market and a proven track record gained over the last five years, he can assist finding talent that will add value to any creative or account handling team, be it in off line media or the digital arena. Dan has also recruited for some of the north’s leading in-house design teams and has delivered on a significant number of roles from Designer and Artworker through to Web Designer and Developers.

Emma graduated in 2010 with a degree in French and Italian from the University of Bristol, and after deciding that she didn’t want to use her languages in a professional capacity, she decided to progress her career in recruitment focusing on advertising, marketing and creative agencies.

She quickly became passionate about the industry, and has spent the past 2 years recruiting specifically within the North West and Yorkshire agency markets. Having worked with large and smaller clients across Account Handling, Creative and Digital capacities, Emma enjoys understanding each agency’s core business and USPs.

Catherine provides full administrative support for the Directors, Consultants, clients and candidates at Better Placed.

Having joined Better Placed in 2006, Catherine worked for three years recruiting into the agency market before moving into her current role as Officer Manager.
